Dealing with children

So, today I had to phone Blanche to let her know that my daughter's only comment to my new blog was "It's so pink!" I asked Blanche, "What's wrong with pink. Pink is as good a color as any other, isn't it? And this one, she should talk. This is the one who wore flower print bell bottom pants with her stripe shirt. oy vey, how have we survived it all.

Well, Blanche in her ever calming way replied, "Not to worry, we will have a little bagel and talk about the wonderful grandchildren our children have produced."

She is right again, as someone smart said, "Grandchildren and God's gift to us for not killing our children.
